Safety & Compliance Is The Name Of The Game When It Comes To Swimming Pools.

Some of us are truly very fortunate indeed to have a pool on private ground and it is the one thing that can put a smile on your face early in the morning and late in the evening when you return from work. Being able to take a swim before the start of your working day, helps to invigorate you and to wake you up for the day that lies ahead. The same applies when you come home from the office and you are totally exhausted and there is always time for a quick dip in the pool. It’s the one thing that your family all agree upon that you have made the correct decision and it’s really difficult to get the kids out of the pool once they get in there.

The thing to remember however is that as the parent, it is your responsibility to make sure that the pool is safe not only for yourself and your children but for any guests that you invite around your home. This is why it is incredibly important that you get a certificate that shows pool compliance in Sydney so that you can be sure that everything inside and outside your swimming pool follows all of the necessary safety rules. To your untrained eye, your swimming pool probably looks fine but the following are some of the things that can be checked for that you wouldn’t even think of looking for.

  • Loose pool ladder – There can be a lot going on under the water that you are not aware of and the pool ladder is specifically can come loose and the bolts can be rusting away and you’re not even aware that it is happening. This means that if anyone is climbing into or out of the pool, the ladder could come away from the wall of the swimming pool and cause an injury.
  • Cracked or loose tiles – These are a hazard both inside and outside the pool and if a tile is cracked, it may have a shot age and this could cause a nasty foot injury. Tiles can come loose at the bottom of your pool as well is the sides and so these need to be checked to make sure that everything is firmly in place.

These are only two of the many things that can go wrong in and around your swimming pool, so it makes perfect sense to call in the professionals to make sure that everything is in compliance and follows all of the safety rules.
